NGS METAGENOMICS WORKSHOP +PLUS A FREE WEBINAR
Learn to Practically Explore NGS Metagenomics Samples, Analyse and Comparatively Interpret the Results in 5 Days Without any Prior Knowledge of Bioinformatics.
Together, let's explore the microbial community
Metagenomics is an interdisciplinary field of genetics that includes studying environmental samples (such as soil, food, and water) using genetic techniques. With metagenomics, we can study and investigate microbes in a single experiment which is impossible with conventional microbiology methods.
Metagenomics has been proven as a powerful tool that is potent enough to penetrate different fields, to solve various problems. It is used widely in ecology, environment conservation, infectious disease diagnosis, Environmental remediation, Biotechnology, and agriculture.
In this workshop, we shall be demonstrating various methods used in exploring the metagenomics study of water, soil, food, and clinical microbial samples.
Antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) and antimicrobial resistance elements (AMR) are novel environmental contaminants that pose a significant risk to human health globally. Freshwater contains a variety of microorganisms that might affect human health; its quality must be assessed before use. However, the dynamics of mobile genetic elements (MGEs) and ARG propagation in freshwater have rarely been studied in Singapore. Therefore, this study used metagenomics to compare diversity, virulence factor composition, and ARG and MGE co-occurrence with bacterial communities in paired (n = 8) environmental freshwater samples. KneadData, FMAP, and Kraken2 were used for bioinformatics analysis and R (v4.1.1) for statistical analysis. Sequence reads with a total of 9043 species were taxonomically classified into 66 phyla, 130 classes, 261 orders, 584 families, and 2477 genera. Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria, and Firmicutes were found in the Phyla in all samples. Analysis of QIIME output by PICRUSt and ß-diversity showed unique clusters and functional microbial community structures...

Before starting the program, I was a bit apprehensive, as I had previously been taken advantage of by some online scam. But now, I consider myself fortunate that I had stumbled upon this organisation. Kudos team genomac hub! I honour your intentions to create a global impact by helping researchers. Looking forward to learning and growth & thank you for sharing the lifetime activation key of geneious software.

During my time with Genomac Hub, I was offered online classes, clear guidance, and a structured map to proceed with the work, outlining the amazing results. The negotiations were satisfactory overall. I must rate the service 8/10
Attending Genomac Hub workshop helped me navigate the fundamentals of Bioinformatics. It provides a solid foundation for me to move on in my career. The CEO, Oluwaseyi, is very knowledgeable about the course. He is adept at keeping the class engaged and making everyone understand. I recommend Genomac Hub courses and workshops to anyone in any part of the globe.
Interesting, understandable, keeps the target audience engaged till the end. The concepts and protocols are explained in a lucid way.
I am a busy person; will it be impossible to attend the workshop? It will be extremely convenient for you to attend this workshop because we are going to give you access to recorded live sessions and video modules to watch and practice in your free time.
Why is the workshop fee very low despite the bonuses? We believe in sustainable goals, and our vision is to empower 100,000 life scientists with bioinformatics skills in 1 year, promote competency and raise experienced expertise in the life science space. But many people could not afford to get trained due to the high cost of Bioinformatics training. So, this is an opportunity, don't lose it.
Will i get lifetime access to the videos?Kindly remember this is a workshop, not an online course and hence you don't get lifetime access to the videos. But we understand, you might want some more time to practice and gain more expertise on it, hence you can view all the videos for two more weeks after the workshop.
When does the worksop starts? The workshop will commence on 11th of December 2022 at 4 to 5 PM GMT.
I made the payment but did not have access to the videosKindly write to us at Contact | GENOMAC HUB and we will reply as soon as possible
