About the Program

This International Virtual Research Internship in Genomics & Bioinformatics is designed for students and early‑career professionals who want to go beyond tools and analytics into real research thinking, project design, and scientific communication.

Rather than short trainings focused only on software, this internship immerses you in research‑oriented genomics and bioinformatics projects, equipping you with the skills, experience, and structure needed to confidently pursue independent research and publication after the internship.

Most programs teach how to use tools. This internship teaches how to think and work like a researcher.

You will learn how to:

  •  Frame biological research questions

  •  Design genomics and bioinformatics studies

  •  Apply analytical tools within a research context

  •  Structure projects aligned with academic standards

  •  Communicate research findings professionally

By the end of the internship, you will have research experience and a structured project portfolio that prepares you to independently advance toward publication, postgraduate research, or industry research roles.

AGENDA: 8 Weeks | Weekly Class Sessions | 3PM GMT | 1 Hour Duration Per Session

STARTING DATE: FEB - 2026

SELECTION PROCESS:

  1. Application & screening

  2. Online interview

  3. Merit-based selection

  4. Offer letter issued

  5. Slot confirmed with a $30 non-refundable commitment fee (due to limited mentorship slots) not as program tuition.

PS: This is a fully covered international research internship, providing access to research programs, mentorship, and professional tools valued at over $3,000 via the Omicsboard platform (omicsboard.com).
