COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AND FUNCTIONAL METAGENOMICS
FROM RESEARCH PROJECT TO PUBLISHED PAPER
In this research workshop, we will be engaging the fundamental principles and concepts of comparative and functional metagenomics to explore and study types (water, soil, clinical, etc) of metagenomics samples per individual interest, with key focus, ranging from a very broad view in building a project workflow, perform real live practical bioinformatics analysis, to investigating the entire pathogenic capabilities found in the genomes and drafting a complete research paper based on our entire findings.
Our mission in this program is to practically train and equip life scientists, especially microbiologists, with current bioinformatics research skills, and teach them to make trending research papers on shotgun metagenomics samples by themselves.
